I have been a bit laid back about crafting at the moment because I have been enjoying the gorgeous weather that we have had on the South coast. I also managed a long weekend away with my Husband so, all in all, it's been a very relaxing time.
In July, Tena and I held another workshop. It was a warm day and Tena's lovely Husband made us fresh lemonade (I don't think he expected it all to be gone!) and we worked our guests hard, making a total of 10 things. Admittedly some were duplicate cards (the new In-Colours are just too gorgeous to choose one colour) but everyone had a good time.
Tena demonstrated two 3d projects and two cards and I demonstrated a set of cards. I like to make up a few simple designs in one go so I always know I have a card to hand if I need one (like my Mum always had a drawer with a packet of notelets in).
3d project - tealight holder. This is a fabulous simple design and makes a great little gift or table present
Post-it note holder
Great idea for a male card
Embossing & some clever cutting
A quick & simple design which we replicated in all of the 2013-14 In-colours
Enjoy your weekend.
