Firstly, apologies for the time I have spent away from my blog. Life has been extremely hectic and we have been settling back into a family routine now that Hubby is home for a while.
One of the fabulous things about having my Hubby home is the unwavering support he gives to my Stampin' Up business including getting up early on his Saturday off to help run the kitchen and prepare the workshop lunch at mine and Tena's workshop yesterday....
We had another lovely day with our talented ladies who we love to see put their own creativity to the projects Tena and I bring along for them.
Here are two of the projects Tena prepared for the morning class. There was a third card but it had an unfortunate meeting with an ink pad before I got to photograph it!
This gift card holder uses the Bigz Top Note Die
The other card is a split negative card using Whisper White and Pool Party card and embossing poser. Very quick and easy and absolutely stunning. The Swallowtail stamp is available until 30th June 2013
After a delicious lunch, some fruit plus some very naughty chocolate eclairs (mini ones so we are redeemed!), we made an Envelope Album. This involved a bit of concentration at the beginning with some measuring and scoring & it coordinated beautifully. The envelopes are medium Crumb Cake and each guest had half of one of a Simply Scrappin' kit - in this case "Afternoon Daydream"
The pockets made from the envelopes had inserts with ribbon pull tabs. These were made from the Top Note Die
The kit coordinate colours were More Mustard, Pool Party, Basic Gray and Primrose Petals. The kit come with plain cardstock, double sided patterned paper and a large selection of really thick cardstock stickers
Tena had made our guests a table gift.....
|yes we had biscuits & cake too!|
Our workshop guests all have a different level of crafting experience and different crafting favourites and with age ranges from one pre-teenage girl to ladies of more mature years, papercrafting really does appeal to everyone. We love to see the creative changes our guests make to their projects as they experiment with our selection of stamp sets, punches and dies available.
If you are interested in attending our next workshop in July or holding a Stampin' Up! Party in the comfort of your own home with a few friends, please contact me to discuss the benefits available to you as a Party hostess.
Take care and have a great week,
