Autumn in the Air

Today has been the first day which feels like Autumn and that gave me all the excuse I needed to stay in and create a couple of cards using some of the new Stampin' Up! products.  Tomorrow is the launch of the new Annual Catalogue, and running alongside it is the Autumn/Winter "mini" book.  I am really impressed with the collections available, not to mention the new In-Colours.

The Autumn/Winter "mini" catalogue runs until the 30th January 2013 and has a selection of products to carry us over Halloween, Christmas and into the New Year.

For the card below, I have used a base of Cherry Cobbler.  The new Core'dinations card stock runs beautifully through the Big Shot, here using the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder.  I couldn't wait to take the photo so the lighting isn't great but I think it shows up the core which gives an almost copper tone.  Scalloped tulle ribbon (Cherry Cobbler) at the back of the die cut and the amazing Snow Flurry Bigz die is cut on the Champagne Glimmer Paper with a vintage button (a sneak from the New Annual Catalogue)  My photo does not do the glimmer paper justice.

The patterned paper used in this card is from the Candlelight Christmas Speciality Designer Series Paper; the Evergreen stamp set and more sneaks from the Annual Catalogue with two of the new In-colours.

The Candlelight Christmas Speciality Designer Series Paper includes two sheets of this gorgeous acetate with flocked pattern on.  Despite promising that I would never use it and only look at it on special occasions, it really is too yummy to be hidden away.  The stamp set is another sneak!

If you would like a copy of the Annual Catalogue (£4.95) with free copy of the Mini Catalogue included, please drop me an email.  If you would like to host a workshop in your own home you will receive a copy of the Catalogue at no charge.  It's a great opportunity to get-together with friends and I can tailor your project to suit both experienced crafters and non-crafters alike. I can be contacted at

Well, off for a spot of ironing then t.v. under a blanket tonight I think.

Best wishes,
